Refrigerator Bin (Again!)

I noticed the repair of the right side of the lower bin was failing. (See Refrigerator Bins and Shelves Redo to read about the previous repair.)

I removed the Plastruct angle and the broken piece of the bin and then cleaned the epoxy from them.

I then reattached the broken piece using J-B Weld Plastic Bonder Epoxy.

After that I reattached the Plastruct angle with J-B Weld Plastic Bonder Epoxy.

I then cut a long narrow piece from the 12" x 12" sheet of 1/16" ABS plastic and attached it with J-B Weld Plastic Bonder Epoxy in order to reinforce the broken piece.

I also applied extra J-B Weld Plastic Bonder Epoxy on the edges of the under side of the broken piece.

Finally I curt cut another long narrow piece from the 12" x 12" sheet of 1/16" ABS plastic and attached it with J-B Weld Plastic Bonder Epoxy on the other side of the bin in order to reinforce the repair on that side.

I'm optimistic that the repair will hold this time.
